A call went out from a neighbor within the East Mountain community. They discovered a deer with injured legs in their years. Before they could call for help, the deer was gone.
Masleña Rescue Foundation was contacted to help search the area to try and find the deer. We are often called in to help other rescues and local neighbors track and safely rescue animals in the area. KRQE News covered the event.
At this time, no one has spotter the deer, but we are asking the community to contact us immediately if they do.
